Event Information

NB - This is an interactive masterclass and we try to recreate an interactive classroom environment, where the sessions are live via the zoom video conferencing platform and all delegates are expected to participate in the discussions. Feedback from other delegates have stated that the interaction and shared learning experience was one of the most valuable parts of the session.

The number of Twitter users and daily usage cannot be ignored but even for regular users, Twitter can sometimes seem like a wall of noise.

Without a clear strategy, many businesses take to posting sporadically to Twitter, not listening out for opportunities, and missing people talking about their business.

In this masterclass we will show you how Twitter works and why it is important as a business to have a strategy on using Twitter. We'll show you how to set up your account, how to post updates to the platform (tweets), explain why hashtags are vitally important to include in your updates and how to use Twitter lists to save you hours of time scrolling through your newsfeed.

Session 1 – Thursday 16th September (10:00 – 11:30):  You will learn all the key parts to a great Twitter profile and understand the different ways you can post updates to Twitter and how to increase the reach of these tweets.

Session 2 – Thursday 23rd September (10:00 – 11:30):  You will learn the vital role Twitter lists can play to help you stay up to date with industry news, local news, opportunities and to keep an eye on what your competitors are saying on Twitter. You will understand the various roles your Twitter account can play including maintaining good customer service and for reputation management.
