SP Energy Networks - Storm Isha
SP Energy Networks engineers are working hard to ensure customers affected by power cuts due to Storm Isha are restored as quickly and safely as possible.

So far, Storm Isha has affected over 53,000 of our customers in Central and Southern Scotland and over 18,000 in Merseyside, Cheshire, North Shropshire and North and Mid Wales. We have restored power to over 42,000 of our customers in Central and Southern Scotland and over 16,000 in Merseyside, Cheshire, North Shropshire and North and Mid Wales. Our engineers are continuing to work around the clock to restore power to all of our customers as soon as possible.

Central Scotland and Wales experienced wind gusts of up to 85mph and our teams worked through the night in challenging conditions to restore power to impacted customers. Safety remains our number one priority and high winds in some areas continue to make it unsafe to work at height, making restoration efforts more challenging. Please be assured our colleagues are doing everything they can to restore your power quickly and safely.

If you have a powercut call 105 to report it no matter who you pay your bill to.

A yellow weather warning issued by the Met Office will remain in place until Wednesday 24th January.

Click here for information and updates about power cuts in your area or visit our Twitter/X channel @spenergynetwork.

For information regarding the storm, visit our website which will be regularly kept up to date. For in depth information about the weather where you live, visit the Met Office website.
