Keep your Property Safe
police
Safer Neighbourhood Teams across Derbyshire are highlighting the importance of keeping items safe and secure at home, work and in vehicles.

There are various things you can do to deter thieves and opportunists, taking photographs, marking and registering your property can be some of the ways. This also means, that in the unfortunate event of your property getting lost or stolen it can be used as a way of getting it back to you if recovered.

You can register items on Immobilise www.immobilise.com this helps the police identify the owners of recovered property.

You can mark or etch your property with your postcode (as an example) or apply police approved forensic marking solution that is only visible under Ultraviolet (UV) light, this can take the form of a special marker using ink or paint.
